Disability Protection & Accessibility
The University's Disability Protection Policy and Accessibility Statement state that the University will take affirmative steps to advance the employment of those with disabilities.
Under University policy and federal law, the University makes reasonable efforts to accommodate students, instructional staff, non-academic staff, and members of the general public who have physical, mental, or learning disabilities. The person who has the disability is responsible for requesting accommodations.
Faculty, TAs, and staff members may approach their DEO first with requests for disability accommodations, or they may approach Faculty & Staff Disability Services or the college's Assistant Dean, 310 Calvin Hall, 335-1497.
